The composition of the magnesium chloride electrolysis apparatus comprises: a melt-sealed electrolysis chamber containing magnesium chloride; at least one pair of vertical negative and positive electrodes; and at least one external non-wired intermediate electrode extending parallel to each pair of the negative and positive electrodes. The middle electrode is preferably made of a graphite plate and iron attached to the same large plane. All electrodes are preferably slightly tilted from the vertical and mounted on a gantry of a non-conductive, refractory material that can be raised and lowered. Electrolytic cell structure is simple, in order to increase production, although the electrolysis room installed several electrodes, but only one anode and one or two cathodes
