川东钻探公司是四川石油管理局下属的一个专业化天然气勘探企业,是一个集地质勘探、钻井工程、井下作业、机械修理、钻井工制造和科研为一体的专业化公司。近年来,该公司以天然气“增储上产”为中心,努力发展川东高陡构造钻井技术,大力开展科技攻关和应用技术开发,大面积推广应用新技术、新工艺,已获得实用科技成果470多项。川东钻探公司把专利工作作为科技工作的重要组成部分,深入贯彻“企业专利工作办法”,已获职务发明专利权23项,1995年被四川省专利管理局授予“先进单位”称号。
