在当今全球化时代背景下,能够以英语为工具,自由的获取信息是高素质人才的必备条件,同时也是大学人才培养的重要方向。大学要培养英语过硬的优秀人才,离不开外语文化氛围的构建。而理工科大学由于种种原因,在外语文化氛围方面始终存在欠缺。本文就理工科大学的外语文化氛围的现状进行了剖析,并试图探索出一条活跃外语文化氛围、提升学生英语水平的道路。
In today’s era of globalization, the ability to use English as a tool to obtain information freely is a prerequisite for highly qualified personnel and is also an important direction for university personnel training. University to train excellent talents in English, inseparable from the construction of foreign language and cultural atmosphere. The University of Science and Technology for various reasons, there is always a lack of foreign language culture. This article analyzes the current situation of the foreign language culture in the University of Science and Technology and attempts to explore an active foreign language and culture to enhance the students’ English level.
