10月15日,中央工艺美术学院现代雕塑33人作品展,在中央工艺美院陈列馆展出。作为一个有着明显的学术渊源传统及独特艺术风格的雕塑学派,其代表性作者及作品以这样的规模完整、系统地推出,在雕塑界还尚属首次。 中央工艺美院装饰艺术设计系始建于1975年,原称特种工艺美术系,其装饰雕塑专业的前身是分别在民间工艺美术大师张景祜(泥人张)、汤子博(面人汤)的工作室及二十年代即赴法专攻雕塑的郑可的“郑可工作室”基础上建立的,这种融合了中国传统民间工艺及西方现代设计理念的教学思路在中国现代美术院校的雕塑教学体系中也属于一个特例。
