《关于诗的一封信》(一九五七年一月十一日),是伟大领袖和导师毛主席关于文艺问题一系列光辉指示的重要文件之一。为了纪念这一重要文件发表二十周年,深入学习毛主席关于诗歌问题的指示精神,批判“四人帮”的反动谬论,以促进诗歌创作更好地为工农兵服务,为无产阶级政治服务,本刊编辑部子一九七六年十二月六日下午,邀请部分在京的专业和工农兵业余诗歌作者举行座谈会。会议由副主编葛洛同志主持,藏克家、赵朴初、冯至、贺敏之、李瑛、刘章、张宝申、王恩宇、李学鳌、纪学、胡世宗、谢冕、李小雨等同志发了言。会场上群情激愤,斗志昂扬,呈现出打倒“四人帮”诗歌大解放的无比欢快活跃的热烈气氛。发言中大家深情回忆毛主席对诗歌问题的一贯关注,热情赞颂华主席的英明领导,愤怒声讨“四人帮”格杀革命诗歌、迫害革命诗歌作者的滔天罪行,决心最紧密地团结在以华主席为首的党中央周围,继承毛主席的遗志,坚决执行毛主席的革命文艺路线,到工农兵群众火热的斗争中去,努力创作,用实际行动迎接社会主义诗歌百花盛开的春天。下面是座谈会发言的摘要。
“A Letter to the Poem” (January 11, 1957) is one of the important documents of a series of brilliant instructions on the art and literature issue by Chairman Mao and the great leader and mentor. In commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the publication of this important document, we should further study Chairman Mao’s directives on the issue of poetry and criticize the reactionary fallacies of the “gang of four” in order to promote poetry creation to better serve the workers, peasants, and soldiers and proletarian politics, Editorial editor in the afternoon of December 6, 1976 invited some of the major in Beijing and amateur poetry of workers, peasants and soldiers held a forum. The meeting was presided over by Associate Editor Ge Luo and made speeches by comrades like Tibetans, Zhao Puchu, Feng Zhi, He Minzhi, Li Ying, Liu Zhang, Zhang Baoshen, Wang Enyu, Li Xueao, Ji Xue, Hu Shizong, Xie Mian and Li Xiaoyu. At the venue, the group was indignant and militarized, presenting a warm and invigorating lively atmosphere of overthrowing the “gang of four” and the liberation of poetry. In his speech, he profoundly reminded Chairman Mao of his constant concern about the issue of poetry. He warmly praised Chairman Hua for being wise and angry and denouncing the “gang of four” for killing revolutionary poems and for persecuting the monstrous crimes committed by the authors of revolutionary poems. He was determined to unite closely with China Around the CPC Central Committee headed by the chairman, following the legacy of Chairman Mao, resolutely implementing Chairman Mao’s revolutionary line of literature and art, going to the fiery struggle of the workers, peasants and soldiers, working hard to create and using practical actions to welcome the spring of flourishing socialist poetry.
