DF11型机车是我段主要的修程车,作为内燃机车柴油机是重要的大型配件,而轴瓦又是柴油机最重要的零件之一.轴瓦价格低廉的优势使其成为铁路内燃机车上最重要的零件之一。为保证我段机车安全运行无事故,主轴瓦的安全性就显得尤为重要。抗疲劳强度的好坏,耐冲击性的优劣,是否具有良好的嵌入性、互换性等都是衡量轴瓦优劣的标准。它的拆装简单方便,避免浪费过多的时间进行检修,这也是它的到广泛应用的原因之一。轴瓦的结构大体可分为薄壁、双层金属、三层金属三类。DF11型机车的柴油机是中速大功率柴油机,这种国产机车上的轴瓦大多采用铝锡双金属材料,因为这种材料具有良好的耐磨性能。但是轴瓦一旦失去了安全使用的环境和安全使用的条件,轻则造成轴瓦报废、曲轴拉伤,重则造成曲轴断裂、机体报废。DF11型主轴瓦的合金属层材料采用高锡铝合金,也很好的保证了它的抗疲劳性及耐冲击性。
