徐悲鸿,江苏宜兴人,1895年出生,中国现代著名画家。青年时留学法国学习绘画,归国后长期从事美术教育工作。新中国成立后,担任中央美术学院院长。1953年去世,享年58岁。徐悲鸿一生作品颇丰,尤以画马而闻世。徐悲鸿的大部分画作,珍藏在北京徐悲鸿纪念馆中,目前,位于新街口的徐悲鸿纪念馆,原馆已经拆除,新馆已重建。对外开放之后,将是欣赏徐悲鸿画作和研究徐悲鸿艺术成就的重要场所。徐悲鸿一生爱好交际,与各界名人都有往来。细细回味徐悲鸿的一生,让人惊讶的是,他的身边集中了众多的文化名人与政治名人。本文讲述了这类交往的故事。
