On January 15, 2013, the World Bank released the Global Economic Outlook that the developing countries in 2012 had the lowest economic growth rate in 10 years. The Bank believes that while the world economy is still fragile and the growth in high-income countries is sluggish, developing countries need to focus on boosting the potential for economic growth while strengthening the buffer mechanism to deal with the risks of fiscal policy from the Eurozone and the United States.
