2010年,北京市确定了“建设世界城市”发展目标,这是北京城市建设与发展的新机遇,也是我国参与全球竞争的重要战略。作为多民族中国的首都,汇聚56个民族、80多万常住少数民族人口的多民族城市,北京市世界城市建设目标的实现与和谐民族关系构建有着非常密切的关系。从建设世界城市的高度和视野来研究北京和谐民族关系的构建,具有非常重要的理论意义和应用价值。
In 2010, Beijing determined the development goal of “building a world city”, which is a new opportunity for Beijing’s urban construction and development and an important strategy for China to participate in global competition. As a multi-ethnic capital of China, a multi-ethnic city that brings together 56 ethnic groups and 800,000 ethnic minorities, the goal of building a world city in Beijing has a very close relationship with the construction of harmonious ethnic relations. Studying the construction of the harmonious national relations in Beijing from the perspective of building a world city has a very important theoretical and practical value.
