TEX101是癌/睾丸抗原家族中的重要一员,高表达于人睾丸中的精母细胞和精子细胞中。目前发现TEX101从精子表面脱落与精卵相互作用密切相关,是精卵发生顶体反应的关键步骤。此外,TEX101在精浆中的浓度与睾丸生殖细胞的数量相关,可以作为代表男性生育能力的生物学标志物。最后,TEX101的表达还影响精子的运动能力和黏附能力。这些发现表明TEX101可以作为代表男性生育能力的生物学标志物,在精子的发生发育过程中发挥着重要作用。
TEX101 is an important member of the cancer / testis antigen family and is highly expressed in spermatocytes and sperm cells in human testes. It has been found that the shedding of TEX101 from the surface of sperm is closely related to the interaction between sperm and egg and is a key step in the acrosome reaction. In addition, the concentration of TEX101 in seminal plasma correlates with the number of testicular germ cells and can be used as a biomarker to represent male fertility. Finally, the expression of TEX101 also affects sperm motility and adhesion. These findings indicate that TEX101 can serve as a biomarker of fertility in men and plays an important role in the development and progression of sperm.
