和田县是新疆核桃的主要产区之一,有着悠久的栽培历史和较丰富的品种资源,据玄奘的《大唐西域记》有“宜谷稼,多众果”的记述,说明了和田在隋唐时期即以瓜果而著名。1989年和田县曾被列为国家名、特、优经济林商品基地——核桃基地建设县;1998年被国家命名为“核桃之乡”;2001年被国家林业局授予“全国经济林建设”先进县;2002年3月,“和阗牌”薄皮核桃荣获全国首届名、特、优经济林博览会参展产品,被中国经济林协会认定为中国名优果品。2006年被国家农业部绿色食品管理办公室及中国绿色食品发展中心确定为首批全国绿色食品原料(和田薄皮核桃)标准化生产基地等殊荣。
Hetian County is one of the main producing areas of walnut in Xinjiang. It has a long history of cultivation and rich varieties of resources. According to Xuanzang’s account of “Datang Western Region”, there are descriptions of “Yi Gu Jia and numerous public fruit” Hetian was famous for fruits and vegetables in the Sui and Tang dynasties. In 2006 by the State Department of Agriculture Green Food Management Office and China Green Food Development Center identified as the first national green food ingredients (Hetian thin-walled) standardized production base and other awards.
