秋色主要以黄、绿、红三色为主,黄的丰收、绿的秋水、红的枫叶是秋天摄影必不可少的三大主题。具体而言,摄友应从以下方面加以注意。光线就秋天分布最广泛的金色与红色而言,要想在照片上还原金色的稻谷、红彤彤的枣子,以及梧桐、枫叶之色彩,关键在于光线的选择。拍摄时宜采用逆光,让明亮的阳光从主体背后射来,产生透明感,方能表现出色彩的艳丽。
