西方国家(包括日本)的室内设计从现代建筑降生的第一天起就没有掉过队,二者的发展基本上是同步的。现代建筑的长足进取促进了建筑自身众多系统的分化,而分化的结果又导致了对过去曾经被人们忽视的问题的进一步深化探讨。室内设计便应运而起,成为挖掘建筑潜力、完善建筑空间的有效领域。在今天看来,许多风格、个性很强的建筑在其宏观领域上并没有多少文章可做,相反却在其微观层次的室内设计领域中得到了淋漓尽致的发挥。今天的时代是一个深刻反思
The interior design of Western countries (including Japan) has not dropped off the team since the first day of the modern building. The development of the two is basically synchronized.
