当地时间2017年5月18日,在日内瓦联合国总部万国宫,中国工程院院士,山西焦煤集团公司党委副书记、副董事长、总经理金智新代表集团公司与联合国欧洲经济委员会秘书长克里斯汀·弗里斯·巴赫签署合作备忘录。双方约定在联合国框架下,以山西焦煤集团公司为依托,在中国建立一个非盈利组织性质的国际卓越煤矿瓦斯治理中心,拟于2018年启动运营。未来将在全球开展甲烷管理工作,致力于煤矿瓦斯治理、减少温室气体排放、提高清洁能源利用水平。
Local time May 18, 2017, at the UN headquarters in Geneva, the Palais des Nations, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Shanxi Coking Coal Corporation deputy party secretary, vice chairman and general manager Jin Zhixin on behalf of the Group and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Secretary-General Christine Reese Bach signs a memorandum of cooperation. The two sides agreed to establish a non-profit nature-based coal mine gas management center in China under the UN framework based on Shanxi Coking Coal Group Corporation. It plans to start operations in 2018. In the future, methane management will be carried out globally, dedicated to coal mine gas management, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and raising the level of clean energy utilization.
