《大漠苏武》是中国国家京剧院耗时6载精心打磨的一出大型新编历史京剧。全剧以历史唯物主义为总基调,在严格遵循历史史料的基础上,本着“实事求似、大事不虚、细节不拘”的艺术创作精神,将历史真实与艺术真实二者机杼巧结,通过多线条的情节推进与错综复杂的矛盾纠葛,真实还原了两千多年前汉朝中郎将苏武手执汉旌北海牧羊十九载大义凛然不易汉节不辱使命却又家国难舍亲人伤离的悲惨遭际与生存境遇,生动诠释了苏武“富贵不能淫、贫贱不能移、威武不能屈”的大丈夫气节。
