When people communicate verbally, sometimes they use the direct literal meaning to express what they want to describe, but sometimes they use the implied meaning beyond the literal meaning to express. Generally speaking, when speaking, a person produces three kinds of speech acts at the same time: speech, rhetoric and rhetoric. However, in three kinds of speech acts, utterance is often not easy to understand. What is meant by the speaker is beyond the literal meaning of the speaker. In college English listening teaching, how to understand its implication in the speaker’s language, I believe that only based on the actual language environment can the speaker and the listener understand the implication of understanding.
