上世纪80年代后期,黄元强到西安美术学院进修深造,经常到我画室看我作画。他勤奋好学、虚心请教,让我深感于此学子的好学与勤奋,这些年他在艺术上取得的成就,印证了我对他的期许,颇令人欣慰。黄元强在艺术上涉猎面广,他画水彩、也作中国画,更多的还是创作版画。他的版画作品,基本上可为两大类:一类是富有装饰韵味、抒情性很强的作品,多表现湘南的风土人情,以水印版画居多。如《乡情》《夕照》《湘南早茶》《老井》《今日兰花花》《骑竹马》等等。他创作的另一类版画作品,主要是反映现实生活中比较重大的题材,而以黑白木刻居多,少量丝网版画。也因为不同题材及不同的表现对象,依据画家的感受、喜
In the late 1980s, Huang Yuanqiang went to Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts for further studies and often went to my studio to see me paint. He is studious and humbly consulted, so I am deeply touched by her studiousness and diligence. The achievements he made in the arts all these years have corroborated my expectations for him. It is quite gratifying. Huang Yuanqiang is widely covered in art, he painted watercolors, but also made Chinese paintings, and more still created prints. His print works basically can be two categories: one is full of decorative charm, highly lyrical works, more performance of southern Hunan customs, mostly watermark prints. Such as “nostalgia” “Sunset” “Shonan Morning Tea” “Old Well” “Orchid Today” “riding a horse” and so on. Another type of printmaking work he created mainly reflects the more significant themes in real life. His works are mostly black and white woodcuts with a small amount of silkscreen prints. Because of different themes and different performance objects, according to the artist’s feelings, hi
