From October 13 to 14, 2012, Laozi Taoist Culture Research Society, Nanjing University Philosophy Department, Jiangsu Hongde Culture Publishing Foundation, Maoshan Court, Goethe-Institut, Nanjing University Chinese Culture Research Institute, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and Chinese Tradition Cultural Studies Center hosted “Taoist culture and contemporary China International Symposium” held in Nanjing, Jiangsu. More than 50 experts and scholars from 31 universities and research institutes across the Taiwan Strait and abroad attended the conference.
