Abstract Objective To determine whether the mechanical properties of healthy liver in children and adults were different in MR elastography. Materials and Methods A total of 24 healthy children participants (13 children aged 5 to 14 years (7 males and 6 females), 11 adolescents aged 15 to 18 years (6 males and 5 females) and 10 3 T MR elastography (28, 56 and 84 Hz) was performed on healthy adults aged 22-36 years (5 males and 5 females) to obtain the liver shear modulus. Spearman’s correlation was used to assess the relationship between shear modulus and age. One-way ANOVA and Tukey multiple comparisons were used to analyze the differences between age groups. Results Liver and liver values in children and adolescents were
