夏曾佑是中國近現代史上一位重要的學者、詩人、政論家、思想家,曾擔任中華民國教育部第一任社會教育司司長、京師圖書館館長,對于中國近現代教育與文化事業做出過杰出的貢獻。然而,由于他撰述不多,學術著作僅有未完成的《中國古代史》一部,學界對他的研究相對薄弱。本文以《夏曾佑集》爲基礎,輔以其同時代人的日記、書信及相關研究成果,整理編輯而成。
Xia Zengyou is an important scholar, poet, political commentator and thinker in the modern history of China. He was the director of the first social education department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China and the curator of the Capital Library of the People’s Republic of China. He has made great contributions to education and cultural undertakings in modern and contemporary China Outstanding contribution. However, due to his lack of compilation, his academic work has only an unfinished part of “Ancient Chinese History”, and his studies in the academic field are relatively weak. This article is based on “Xia Zeng Youji”, supplemented by its contemporaries of diaries, letters and related research results, compiled and compiled.
