农药是重要的农业生产资料,由于具有高效、快速、经济、简便等特点,而成为防治农作物病虫草鼠害的重要手段。我国每年使用农药挽回的损失可解决1亿人口的吃饭、穿衣问题,农药为我国解决温饱问题作出了功不可没的贡献,发挥了举足轻重的作用。农药又是一种有毒物质,如果使用不当会产生负面影响,不能因为农药的负面影响而否定农药,要客观、科学、公正、辩证的评价农药的功过,才能扬其利、避其害。随着科学技术的进步,农药必将会被不断改进与提高,继续发挥重要作用。

The annual loss of using pesticides in China can solve the problem of eating and dressing 100 million people. Pesticides have played an indispensable contribution to solving the problem of food and clothing in our country and have played a pivotal role. Pesticide is a kind of toxic substance. If used improperly, it will have a negative impact. It can not negate pesticide because of the negative influence of pesticide. Only when objective, scientific, fair and dialectical evaluation of the meritorious service of pesticide can we promote its benefits and avoid harm can be avoided. With the progress of science and technology, pesticides will surely be continuously improved and enhanced, and will continue to play an important role.
