现代泥石流是当前渭河盆地极其重要的山地灾害之一。据史料记载,从公元前18年至1982年的两千年间,渭河盆地内发生灾害性泥石流53次以上,仅盆地南部典型的灾害性泥石流沟谷就有25条之多。在空间分布上,泥石流具有三种类型:盆地南部的水石质泥石流;盆地中部的黄土泥质泥石流及盆地北部的泥石质泥石流,其中以盆地南部的水石质泥石流活动最为显著。在时间进程上,泥石流具有周期性的活动特征,并以具有长短不同的活动周期的特点,并且其周期序列与地震活动、太阳黑子活动等因素有关。
Modern debris flow is one of the most important mountain hazards in the Weihe River basin at present. According to historical records, from 18 BC to 1982, there were more than 53 disastrous mudslides in the Weihe Basin, and there were 25 as many as 25 typical catastrophic debris flows in the south of the basin. There are three types of debris flow in the spatial distribution: water stone debris flow in the south of the basin; loess muddy debris flow in the middle of the basin and muddy debris flow in the northern part of the basin. Among them, water stone flow in the south of the basin is the most obvious. In the course of time, the debris flow has the characteristics of periodic activities, and has the characteristics of different periods of activities, and its periodic sequence is related to the factors of earthquake activity and sunspot activity.
