日前，国际展览物流协会（IELA）推出了一项新的信息技术手段，在一个针对活动组织者和参展商的门户网站上，整理了与物流规划相关的最重要信息。 其内容包括：国家概况、展品运输检查清单和世界上最大的一些场馆的物流要求的概述。
经验丰富的一线展览物流人员解释了保障物流过程顺畅的注意事项，让业界人士了解将展品顺利运行到世界各地的提示和技巧。 它还提供了IELA编制的安全指南和职业健康与安全指南。 IELA提供这些广泛的信息的目的是使协会在一个地方集中提供给参展商和会展组织者。据悉，该门户网站的内容将不断扩展，并添加常见问题解答。

The International Exhibition Logistics Association IELA has launched a new information offering： On a portal for event organisers and exhibitors， the association has collated the most important information relating to logistical planning. This includes country profiles， checklists and overviews of the requirements of the largest venues in the world. Experienced exhibition logisticians explain the dos and don’ts of smooth processing of logistic processes. There are tips and tricks about how carefree transport can go without a hitch to every region of the world.
Anbu Varathan当选UFI2020/21年度主席
近日，在英国伯明翰举行的UFI欧洲大会期间，在董事会会议上，Anbu Varathan当选为UFI2020/21年度主席。Anbu Varathan先生是印度机床制造商协会（IMTMA）的总干事兼首席执行官，印度IMTEX系列机械展的组织者、班加罗尔国际展览中心（BIEC）的首席执行官。他多年来在UFI一直相当活跃，支持该协会的使命，尤其是推动了UFI在亚洲的发展。 自2011年以来，Anbu Varathan先生一直在UFI董事会任职，并于2017年被任命为UFI执行委员会委员。他将成为历史上第一位来自印度的UFI主席。
Anbu Varathan elected President of UFI 2020/21
Anbu Varathan has been elected President of UFI for the 2020/21 period. The decision was made at the board meeting of UFI European Conference in Birmingham （UK）. Varathan is director general and CEO of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association （IMTMA）， organiser of the IMTEX exbititions， and also the chief executive officer of the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre （BIEC）. He has been active in UFI for many years， supporting the association’s mission and driving developments especially in Asia.

由Next Events公司主办的印度知名包装行业品牌展会PackPlus日前已被励展博览集团收购。PackPlus创办于2006年，作为在德里举办的每年一届的行业活动，已成为印度最大的包装行业专业贸易专业人士的盛会，且已经开发了在班加罗、海德拉巴和孟买子展。通过此次收购，励展博览集团将进一步扩张其在印度的业务。 励展印度分公司首席执行官Gregory Zaraisky表示：“很长一段时间，我们对PackPlus的发展和进步感到好奇，我们很高兴能够接手这个展会，并将我们的全球经验、能源和资源用于运营展会。 “将于Pragati Maidan举办的下一届PackPlus Delhi将于8月28-31日举行。
Reed acquires PackPlus India
PackPlus， a portfolio of trade fairs previously owned by Next Events， serving the Indian packaging industry， has been acquired by Reed Exhibitions. Launched in 2006， PackPlus， an annual event held in Delhi， has become established as India’s largest dedicated gathering of trade professionals in the packaging industry. Building on this success， the PackPlus portfolio has expanded and now includes PackPlus South （Bengaluru/ Hyderabad） and the India Packaging Show in Mumbai. With this acquisition， Reed Exhibitions is further expanding its presence in India. Gregory Zaraisky， CEO， Reed Exhibitions India， states："For a long time， we were intrigued by the evolution and progress of PackPlus， and we are delighted to take the baton and add our global experience， energy and resources to this exciting portfolio." Anil Arora， president of Next Events， said： "My wife Neetu and I are very proud of what we have developed and built. PackPlus was and remains our passion， and we are very happy to see the same passion in Reed Exhibitions.
