In an environment of unpredictable changes in trade frictions, the appreciation of the yen, and other issues, Japanese companies, especially the manufacturing industry, have made every effort to adjust their corporate structures and implement localization in foreign countries in order to maintain their survivability. The survival and death of enterprises is a competitive measure. The secret of Japan’s excellent quality and high production efficiency lies in Japan’s production methods.
