对钢进行渗碳,历来有很多方法,但都是以热化学反应产生碳浓度梯度造成碳的扩散方式进行的,因此渗碳速度缓慢,时间长。近年来,国外试验研究了放电渗碳新技术,它是将钢件放在特定的电解液中,加上直流电压,所处理的工件被渗碳性气氛所包围,由于放电,工件表面的气体呈激发状态而激烈反应,在极短的时间(几分)钟里即可完成渗碳过程。现将这一新技术综合介绍如下。
