邓小平同志作为一个伟大的马克思主义者、一个从根本上改变了中国历史走向的巨人、一个影响了整整一个时代进程的政治家,他的一生富有传奇色彩,他的政治生涯中经历了“三落三起”,其中“二落二起”在江西:第一次落起是在第二次国内革命战争时期的苏区瑞金,1934年他因支持毛泽东和毛泽东的游击战,被王明集团免职和降级;第二次落起是在文化大革命中,他被扣上“中国第二号走资派”的帽子,发配到江西新建劳动改造,在那里度过了三年多的艰难岁月。这期间,邓小平被获准到江西一些地方“走走看看”。本文记叙的是1972年11月12日至12月14日,他在樟树、吉安、井冈山、泰和、广昌、南丰、抚州等地参观考察时的点点滴滴。
