西柏林的联邦卫生局警告:服避孕药的妇女不要吸烟。定期服用含有激素避孕药的吸烟妇女,得心肌梗塞或中风的机会增多。联邦卫生局规定,今后在包装含有激素避孕药时,必须印上“有副作用”的字样,并在使用说明书中警告吸烟的妇女不要服用这种药。患心血管疾病的危险随着年龄的增长和吸烟的增多而加大。年过三十岁的妇女,如果服避孕药就不应该吸烟。如果不戒烟,那就要采取其它的避孕方法。
The Federal Health Department in West Berlin warns: women taking birth control pills do not smoke. Regular intake of women with hormonal contraceptives increases the chance of having a heart attack or stroke. The federal Department of Health stipulates that future packaging of hormonal contraceptives must include the words “side effects” and warn women not to take the drug in the instructions for use. The risk of cardiovascular disease increases with age and smoking. Women over the age of 30 should not smoke if they take birth control pills. If you do not quit, then take other contraceptive methods.
