[作者的话 ]在 2 0 0 0年 7月瑞士洛迦诺国际电影节期间 ,有一项重大的活动就是 192 6至 1968年苏联电影回顾展。这次回顾展获得的成功远远超出我们的预料。多个放映厅早中晚连续放映 ,场场座无虚席。几乎每部影片都不得不临时增加放映场次。专程前来洛迦诺观看这次回顾展的 ,不仅有研究苏联电影的各国知名电影理论家和斯拉夫学者 ,还有许多新闻记者。报刊评论搜集起来有厚厚的一叠。连一向只关注影坛现状和电影商情而很少注意电影史 (更不必说苏联电影史 )的《综艺》也刊载了黛博拉·扬的长篇报道。许多国家的电影资料馆纷纷提出要求在本国举办同样的展映 ,其中芬兰的展映已在俄罗斯国家电影档案馆的协助下于 2 0 0 1年初顺利举行。这项规模宏大的展映 (包括 60多部影片 ) ,有一段为时很漫长的、很不寻常的筹备过程 ,需要在这里交代一下———即使仅仅因为它最初的发起者、杰出的意大利新闻工作者和电影理论家乔瓦尼·布塔法瓦如今已经谢世。
[AUTHOR’S WRITTEN] One of the major events during the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland in July 2000 was the retrospective of the Soviet cinema from 1964 to 1968. The success of this retrospective goes well beyond our expectations. Multiple screening room early in the evening show, field games packed. Almost every film had to temporarily increase the screenings. Came to come to Locarno made a special trip to watch this retrospective, not only to study the Soviet film famous national theorists and Slavic scholars, there are many journalists. Newspapers and journals collect a thick stack. Even the “Variety,” which has always paid attention to the status quo of cinema and film business but seldom paid attention to the history of cinema (let alone the history of Soviet cinema), also published a long report by Deborah Young. Many countries’ cinematheques have put forward requests for the same show in their own country, with the Finnish show successfully held in early 2001 with the assistance of the Russian National Film Archives. This spectacular exhibition (which includes more than 60 films) has a very long and unusual preparatory process that needs to be explained here - even if it is simply because of its original sponsor, Outstanding Italian Press Giovanni Butafar, a worker and film theorist, is now dead.
