传统与创新在绘画的发展过程中始终存在两种现象:一种是把传统看成是一切创造的基础,认为学好传统,个性创造会自然流露,于是束缚于传统,不接受新的观念;一种观点是不重视传统,不肯在传统上下工夫,急于出新,认为传统是累赘,甚至否定传统。文章通过阐述一味继承传统、因循守旧或一味拒绝传统、单纯追求个性探索,都是艺术道路上的误区,最终得出继承与创造是不能完全割裂,只有继承传统并从中寻求突破,才是真正意义上的创造。
There are always two phenomena in tradition and innovation in the process of the development of painting. One is that tradition is regarded as the foundation of all creation, and the essence of tradition and innovation is that natural creation is naturally exposed, so it is bound to tradition and does not accept new concepts. The point of view is that it does not attach importance to tradition, refuses to work hard in the tradition, eager to get on with innovation, considers tradition to be cumbersome and even negates tradition. Through elaborating on the traditions of blindly inheriting, following traditions or refusing traditions simply and simply pursuing the exploration of individuality, they all are misunderstandings on the art road, and finally conclude that succession and creation can not be completely separated. Only by inheriting the tradition and seeking breakthrough from them is the real sense Creation.
