龙胆泻肝汤主要功用是泻肝胆实火,清下焦湿热。临床主要用于肝胆实火上扰的头痛目赤,胁痛口苦、耳聋、耳肿或湿热下注的各种症候。如阴肿、阴痒、筋痿阴汗,小便淋浊,妇女湿热下注的带下症等。笔者从临床实践中验得此方可用于许多疑难杂症的治疗,但关键一点是湿热之邪内蕴,现举例如下。
