我从事高等医学教育工作30多年,懂得图书情报工作在教学、科研和医疗工作中的重要地位和作用。有人说;一个学校的学术水平有多高,看看她的图书馆和实验室就知道了。此话不假。没有足够的文献信息很难提出高水平的科研课题;不吸取别人的先进经验,也很难在前人基础上做到有所发明、有所发现、有所创造、有所前进。一所优秀学校的高明校长,总是把图书馆——高校文献信息中心的工作放到重要地位。本人自1989年初担任馆长职务以来,在近五年的馆长生涯中,颇有一些思虑和感触。 抓好图书馆的现代化建设,把藏书楼式的图书馆转化为真正能执行文献情报中心职能的现代化图书馆,是每一位馆长应该首先抓好的
I am engaged in higher medical education for more than 30 years and understand the importance and role of library and information work in teaching, research and medical work. Someone said: how high a school academic standards, see her library and laboratory know. This is true. It is difficult to make high-level scientific research without sufficient literature and information. Without drawing on the advanced experience of others, it is very difficult to find inventions, discoveries, innovations, and advances based on previous experiences. The clever headmaster of a good school always puts the work of the library-university literature and information center in a very important position. Since I assumed the post of curator in early 1989, I have had some thoughts and feelings during the curatorial career of the past five years. Doing a good job in the modernization of the library and transforming the library-style library into a modern library that can perform the functions of a document and information center are the priorities that every director should grasp first
