Ezra Pound is an important poet and critic of modernism in the 20th century. It is also an interesting and controversial historical figure in the history of academic research in the West. By reviewing the general situation of Ezra Pound in the West, this essay analyzes the differences existing in Ezra Pound ’s research and explores the interrelationship between Ezra Pound’ s growth and criticism as a poet.
