从重庆拥有雄厚实力的企业家到山西省贫穷的矿工,从深圳的站街女到北京广受关注的CCTV新址工程项目经理,来自瑞士的摄影师马蒂亚·布莱施勒与莫尼卡·费舍尝试着面对并记录下中国社会的每一面。当前,中国经济的高速发展呈现出文化的多样性,马蒂亚·布莱施勒与莫尼卡·费舍在两年前来到北京,随后开始了他们史诗般的旅程。耗时7个月,足迹遍布中国30个省市及地区,行程超过了3万公里。《中国人》系列完整地记录下了这次旅程,成为当代中国真实动人的写照。《中国人》精选了由中画幅或大画幅相机拍摄的40至50幅肖像照片。这些肖像呈现了当今的中国,一个迷人、充满活力但又在不断调整中的国度。
From the powerful entrepreneurs in Chongqing to poor miners in Shanxi Province, from Shenzhen Station Street to Beijing’s most watched CCTV new site project manager, photographer from Switzerland, Mattie Brech Schiller and Monica Fischer tried to face and record every aspect of Chinese society. At present, the rapid economic development in China presents a diversity of cultures. Two years ago, Mathia Boschler and Monica Fischer arrived in Beijing and began their epic journey. Time-consuming 7 months, the footprint in all 30 provinces and cities in China, travel more than 30,000 km. The “Chinese” series recorded this journey in a complete way and became a true portrayal of contemporary China. The Chinese featured 40 to 50 portraits taken in medium format or large format cameras. These portraits present today’s China, a charming, dynamic but constantly adjusting country.
