苗族花山节承载千年的节日文化,像生生不息的泓泉,具有浓厚的乡土气息,其中蕴含着丰富的文化内涵和音乐原生资源,是乡村文化的平台。开展的村落音乐活动具有极强的的吸引力和号召力,对推动农村音乐的发展,丰富基层文化生活,促进农村和谐稳定,加强新农村建设有重要意义。乡村音乐不光具有传统音乐的地方民俗性、内容丰富性、项目多样性、活动自在性、参与广泛性等时代特点还具有健身、发展经济、娱乐等社会功能。
