官厅水库是根治永定河的重要工程,位于北京西北约80公里处,跨河北省怀来和北京市延庆两县,是我国解放后最早个开工的大型水库之一,是首都的重要水源。
Guanting Reservoir is an important project to cure Yongding River. It is located about 80 kilometers to the northwest of Beijing, across Huairou in Hebei Province and Yanqing County in Beijing. It is one of the earliest large-scale reservoirs started after the liberation of China and is an important source of water for the capital.
