供销合作社是农民的合作经济组织,是繁荣农村经济的重要力量。经过多年发展,广西供销合作社系统已成为全区最大的合作经济组织,有14个地级市供销社、87个县级供销合作社,1037个基层供销合作社,500多家县以上专业公司,4000多个村级综合服务站,1万多个经营网点,具有无可比拟的网络优势。2003年综合经营总额248．8亿元,在连续两年实现扭亏为盈的基础上,2003年全系统实现利润比上年增长3．03倍,被全国供销合作总社授予综合经济效益先进单位一等奖。
