Yaoundé News: The World Health Organization here recently held an international seminar on the practice of female circumcision to make a resolution calling on African governments to work out practical and feasible laws prohibiting the circumcision of women and imposing legal sanctions on them. It is understood that up to now, more than 50 countries in the world still retain this ancient custom, which seriously harms the physical and psychological resources of women, especially young girls.
