近年来,遂昌县王村口小学一路追寻着英雄的足迹、感悟英雄的光辉、传承英雄的精神,开展了一系列活动,在革命精神的引领下,继承先烈的优良传统,争当四好少年。寻访追寻英雄的足迹首先组织队员们走街串巷听老人家们讲述家乡的革命故事,到文化站查找关于革命历史资料,并作详细记录,全面了解家乡的历史。接着,采访老红军,老红军的讲述将队员们带到那个战争年代,动情之处令人潸然泪下。
