In a capitalist country, a new invention becomes a new product. In general, it needs to go through such processes as research, development, design, and trial production. In the research work, basic research is considered to be the exploration of natural laws and the accumulation and expansion of their relevant knowledge; applied research is the exploration of practical applications and areas of basic research results. Development work is a series of experiments, verifications and evaluations conducted to turn research results into industrial products. It is the continuation of research work under industrial conditions. In the broad sense, the design work is part of the development work. In a narrow sense, it is the preparation of manufacturing drawings and other relevant technical documents needed for production. It can be seen that for the industrial production sector, development and design are the most directly related tasks in the above-mentioned work.
