一前贤称道黄崇嘏黄崇嘏何许人也?如今新版的《辞海》、《辞源》、《四川历史词典》等辞书都没有记载黄崇嘏的事略,唯1936年版《辞海》有记载:前蜀临邛女子,工词翰,又善琴棋,妙书画。幼失覆荫,与老妪同居,为男子装。以失火下狱,贡诗蜀相周庠。庠重其才,释之,召为掾。复薦摄府司户参军,胥吏畏伏。庠欲妻以女,崇嘏贡诗自白以谢,有“幕府若容为坦腹,愿天速变作男儿”之句。
