编校质量是图书的生命线。这道理,编辑们都知道。可一到图书质量检查的时候,编辑们人人自危,就好像要了他们的命。于是抓阄决定谁谁谁的书送检,“漏网”的编辑就高举白条发一声喊:“我没有!”也难怪编辑们底气不足。为了求生存求发展,出版社不得不让编辑们超负荷运转,编校质量必然不稳定。如果图书编校质量不过关,责任编辑当然要对此负责,出版社同样难辞其咎。《咬文嚼字》杂志社举办“编校质量擂台赛”,“擂台”设在“众矢之的”。我社选送《撕裂长风》参赛,不是因为此书“武功”了得,只为向“高手”讨教,长长“内功”。
Editing quality is the lifeblood of books. This truth, editors all know. As soon as the quality of the books was checked, the editors were at risk, just as if their lives were needed. In order to survive and seek development, publishers have to make editors overloaded, editing quality inevitable instability. If the quality of the compilation of books but off, of course, the responsible editor responsible for this, the publisher equally blame. “Bite the text” magazine held “editing quality Challenge Cup”, “Ring” in the “target of public criticism.” Our club choose to send “windbreakbreaker” competition, not because of the book “martial arts” got, only to “master” for advice, long “internal strength.”
