The existence of the former concept is extensive and stubborn, especially the pre-erroneous concept, which causes great disturbance to the teaching and hinders students’ understanding of the correct scientific concept. But as long as we have mastered the appropriate teaching strategies, we can turn the former concept into the starting point of the scientific concept. This article mainly proposes its own strategies for the transformation of the former concept of physical optics in junior middle school. It mainly includes cognitive conflict strategy, random access strategy, bridging analogy strategy and comparative thinking strategy. What is the preconceptual preconception refers to the correctness of things and phenomena that have existed in the brain before the student officially contacts the scientific concept.
