侦察工作中的一个重要环节,是侦察人员依法采取强制措施,将犯罪人或重大犯罪嫌疑人拘留或逮捕,为讯问工作和预审工作创造必不可少的条件。侦察人员执行拘留或逮捕任务时,必然要同犯罪人或重大犯罪嫌疑人进行面对面的斗争。在这一过程中,充满各种各样的危险和危机,侦察人员随时要面临并战胜意料之中或意料之外的种种威胁。因此,研究缉捕心理和反缉捕心理,并将研究成果灵活地运用于侦察实践,具有重要意义,尤其在暴力犯罪呈上升趋势的今天,其现实性和重要性愈显突出。
