据人社部消息,统计显示,截至2016年年底,我国社会保障卡持卡人数达9.72亿人,在许多地方,百姓持一张社保卡,就能满足挂号就医、金融支付等多种需求。2017年,社保卡还将基本实现全国一卡通。根据人社部此前的设定,未来社保卡的应用相当广泛,具体的应用目录分为九大类102项,涉及民众日常生活的方方面面。到今年年底,社保卡还可跨地区、跨业务直接办理个人的各项人力资源和社会保障事务。人社部新闻发言人此前表示,下一步要加强社保卡与相关部门的协作,让这个卡真正发挥作用,惠及每一个持卡人。

In many places, people holding a social security card can meet the needs of registered medical treatment and financial payment. In 2017, the social security card will basically realize the national card. According to the previous set by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the application of social security cards in the future is quite extensive. The application catalog is divided into 102 categories in nine categories covering all aspects of people’s daily life. By the end of this year, the social security card can also directly handle individual human resources and social security affairs across regions and across businesses. The spokesman for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Affairs said earlier that the next step is to step up the cooperation between social security cards and relevant departments so that this card can really play its role and benefit every cardholder.
