陕西日报近年来推出的先进典型报道，在全省、全国产生了强烈的反响，得到了中央、省委和广大群众的认可和称赞。回顾这些典型报道，有以下四点体会：1、典型在于发现，媒体只有到社会实践中“深入、深入、再深入”，才能发现典型，传播典型；2、重视自下而上筛选，“人人找线索，站站抓稿件，部门选重点，报社推典型”；3、形成合力推出，抽调精兵强将，多方通力合作，采用多种形式深入报道；4、典型的生命在于体现时代精神，反映群众要求，得到群众认可。
