我的老师曾默躬,四川成都人,一八八○年生,逝世三十三年了,迄今还是一位被埋没的艺术大师。他的诗文、书法、篆刻成就极高,他的山水、花鸟、人物佛像造诣极深。精鉴赏,妙岐黄,著有医论医案数十卷,惜经文革后其书画所存甚少。仅印谱尚在(共三卷三百八十二方),可谓不幸中之一幸也。默师自认其书为第一,画为第二,印为第三。从其印谱水平之高,可以推想诸艺之精,皆臻化境,当无问题。
