词汇是语言的基础建筑材料。中学英语新课程标准中明确规定“学生必须学会使用3000个单词和400-500个习惯用语或固定搭配。”所以词汇教学是英语课堂教学的重要组成部分,学生掌握英语词汇的程度,直接影响他们学习英语的兴趣,也影响了他们学习英语的信心。因此,我们在日常英语教学活动中,要切实加强英语词汇教学,提高学生掌握词汇的效率,促进学生更快更好使用英语。本人在农村初中任教多年,发现农村初中英语词汇教学由于环境,家庭等方面的不利因素,存在以下问题。

Students master English vocabulary directly Affect their interest in learning English, but also affect their confidence in learning English. Therefore, in our daily English teaching activities, we should earnestly strengthen the teaching of English vocabulary, improve students ’efficiency in vocabulary comprehension, and promote students’ use of English faster and better. I taught in rural junior high school for many years and found that rural junior high school English vocabulary teaching due to environmental, family and other aspects of unfavorable factors, there are the following problems.
