According to “Modern CasTing” 89 №8 introduced in 1986, San Diego, California, Du Lv Aluminum Composite Materials Co., Ltd. invented the production of castable metal matrix composite ingot smelting method. In the patent application, this material is called Dura aluminum composite material. The ingot material is composed of aluminum alloy and added SiC particles respectively occupying 10%, 15% and 20% of the volume, and bauxite (Al 2 O 3) is used as a reinforcing agent, and the obtained material is directly cold-extruded into a billet.
