最近,天津百花文艺出版社约我编一部《萧乾家书》。从萧乾写给儿子的二百多封信中选出来的67封,记载了1977至1998这22年间萧乾对儿子的鼓励与殷殷期待。可以说,没有萧乾就没有萧桐今天。巴金只长萧乾六岁,是朋友关系,当然不同于父子。但自从1933年底在北京结识以来,巴金一直像慈祥而又严厉的兄长一般关怀着萧乾,他对萧乾创作生涯的影响是巨大的。巴金可以说是一盏指路明灯,为萧乾照亮着前进的道路。我是1953年与萧乾相识,转年五月结婚的。45 年的共同生活中,我知道萧乾心中始终有座神龛, 里面供着巴金。
Recently, Tianjin Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House made a book about “Xiao Qian Jia Shu”. Seventy-six letters selected from over 200 letters written by Xiao Qian to his son record the encouragement and earnest expectation of Xiao Qian’s son during 1977 and 1998. It can be said that there is no Xiaogong Xiao Tong today. Pugin only 6 years old, is a friend, of course, is different from his father and son. But since he got acquainted in Beijing in late 1933, Ba Jin has always taken care of Xiao Qian like a kind and stern brother, and his influence on Xiao Qian’s career is enormous. Ba Jin can be described as a beacon for Xiao Qian illuminate the way forward. I met Xiao Xiao in 1953 and got married in May. 45 years of common life, I know Xiao Qian heart always has a shrine inside, with a provision of Ba Jin.
