英语新词汇源自社会,反映了社会生活的现状。本文以英语新词汇为研究对象,阐述了英语新词产生的主要方式:利用构词法、借用外来词汇、赋旧词新义、创造全新单词,总结了新词汇的发展趋势:来源多种多样,新词汇增长变快,形式趋向简洁。
